WISHTRACKER

What you want, and how long until it matters.

WishTracker puts a wish — and, if you gave it a date, a countdown — on your Lock Screen.

Support & help

Adding the widget

Each widget you place is bound to one wish, so you can add more than one widget to track more than one want or occasion. There's a Home Screen widget too. After you save your first wish, the app walks you through this step and checks whether the widget actually made it onto your Lock Screen — if it can't tell for certain, it says so rather than guessing.

My widget isn't updating

The countdown updates on its own overnight as the day changes, and whenever you edit the wish. If it looks stale, open WishTracker once and lock the phone again. If it's still wrong, remove the widget and add it back.

An occasion date has passed — why did the countdown disappear?

Once an occasion's date has gone by, the widget stops showing a countdown and falls back to showing just the wish's name — it does not count backwards or guess a new date. The app will also prompt you, once, to either set a new date or clear it. Nothing you typed is ever changed automatically.

A quick note on what WishTracker doesn't do

WishTracker does not send notifications or reminders of any kind — it never alerts you as an occasion approaches. The countdown is something you check, on the Lock Screen, not something that pushes to you. There's also no account, no sync between devices, and no sharing of wishes with anyone else. What you see in the app on this device is the whole of it.

The app says it's locked

Declining the paywall the first time gives you a free week of full WishTracker Pro. If that week runs out without a purchase, the app itself becomes unreachable — you'll see the paywall and can buy from there, but you can't view or edit your wishes until you do. Your Lock Screen widget is not affected by this: it keeps showing whatever wish and countdown were last saved, exactly as before, because the widget never checks purchase status. It just can't be changed until the app is unlocked again.

Restoring a purchase

Open WishTracker, go to the paywall, and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought with.

Managing a subscription

Subscriptions are managed by Apple: open the Settings app, tap your name, then Subscriptions. Lifetime is a single payment and never renews.
